Ингредиенты

  • 2 Tbsp. veg. oil
  • 1 x minced green pepper
  • 1/2 c. celery, minced
  • 1 c. onion, minced
  • 1 lb grnd beef
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 3 x beef bouillon cubes
  • 1 can mushrooms (10 ounce size)
  • 1/2 c. long grain rice, uncooked
  • 10 ounce water chestnuts, liquid removed & sliced
  • 10 ounce bamboo shoots
  • 2 c. bean sprouts (fresh is best)
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Инструкции

  1. Heat oil in frying pan. Add in next 4 ingredients in order given. Saute/fry to soften. Stir to break up meat and continue cooking till no pink color remains. Turn off heat.*
  2. Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Pour into meat mix.
  3. Add in mushrooms, rice, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and bean sprouts. Mix lightly to combine. Add in soy sauce, salt & pepper. Stir together well. Scoop into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover. Bake in 350F oven for 45 min till rice is cooked.

  5. I drain off the excess fat from this mix. I also use Yoshida's Gourmet Sauce instead of soy sauce to add in flavour.
