1 can (15-ounce) northern white beans or possibly two c. cooked dry beans

1 c. Spiral or possibly elbow pasta (I use whole wheat variety) Freshly grated Parmesan, Romano or possibly Asiago cheese Freshly minced basil or possibly parsley
