Ингредиенты

  • 3 c. flour, self-raising
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 60 gm butter
  • 125 gm cheese, grated
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 Tbsp. lowfat sour cream

Инструкции

  1. Grease a baking tray and set oven temperature at warm (360F).
  2. Sift flour, salt and cayenne pepper into a bowl. Rub in butter. Reserve 2 Tbsp. grated cheese for top and add in remaining cheese to mix. Make a well in the center and fold in lowfat milk and lowfat sour cream, adding more if necessary to make a soft dough.
  3. Knead lightly on a floured board.
  4. Place on prepared tray and pat out to a circle 2 cm thick. Mark the top into eighths with a knife dipped in flour, cutting approximately halfway through the mix. Brush top with lowfat milk and sprinkle with reserved cheese.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven for 25-30 min. Serve hot with butter.
