Рецепт Carrot and Peas Rice
Ingredients:
- Rice – 2 cups, cooked
- Onions – 2, finely chopped
- Carrot – 4, grated
- Green Peas – 1/2 cup, boiled
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Green Chillies – 4
- Ginger – 1/2 inch piece, peeled
- Cloves – 2
- Bay Leaf – 1
- Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
- Cinnamon – a small piece
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Water – 4 cups
- Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Grind the ginger, garlic and green chillies to a paste.
2. Heat oil in a pan.
3. Fry the cloves, bay leaf and cinnamon for 30 to 45 seconds.
4. Add the onions and saute until golden.
5. Add the ground paste and stir-fry until the raw smell disappears.
6. Add the carrot, turmeric powder and salt.
7. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.
8. Add the green peas and stir.
9. Add rice and stir gently to mix.
10. Reduce flame and simmer for 5 minutes.
11. Serve hot with raita.
