Ingredients: 170 gm Unsalted butter, (6oz); 100 gm Soft brown sugar, (4oz); 1 x Egg; 1 Tbsp. Water; 85 gm Grated apple and grated carrots, equal amounts (3oz); 140 gm Plain flour, (5z); 1 tsp Baking pwdr; 1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of soda; 1/2 tsp Nutmeg; 1/2 tsp Salt

Ингредиенты

170 gm Unsalted butter, (6oz)
100 gm Soft brown sugar, (4oz)
1 x Egg
1 Tbsp. Water
85 gm Grated apple and grated carrots, equal amounts (3oz)
140 gm Plain flour, (5z)
1 tsp Baking pwdr
1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Salt

Инструкции

Cream the butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Beat the egg and water together and mix into the creamed butter and sugar. Stir in the carrots and apple. Sift the flour, bicarbonate of soda, baking pwdr, salt and nutmeg. Stir to blend.
Spoon the mix into a prepared bun tray. Bake at 180 C/350 F/gas mark 4 till the tops spring back when lightly touched. Allow to stand for 10 min before transferring to wire rack.
