Cardamom Breakfast Rice (1 Serving)

Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 c. white basmati rice
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp cardamom
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 x -1/2 teaspoon oil (I use extra virgin olive oil)
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (more if desired it sweeter)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp currants, raisins, or possibly dates
  • 1 Tbsp. minced pecans or possibly slivered almonds
  • 1 tsp toasted sunflower seeds

Инструкции

  1. Combine rice, nutmeg, cardamom, and coriander in pan with oil. Saute/fry till rice smells nutty. Add in rest of ingredients, cover and cook approximately 15 min or possibly till water is absorbed and rice is tender. I serve mine with soy lowfat milk.
  2. This recipe is for one serving.
  3. Easy to increase for additional people.
