Pot luck folks enjoyed this today. Some asked me if it had sauerkraut in it. I believe that's because the vinegar and sugar in combination with cabbage make it taste similar to sauerkraut (?) I followed the recipe precisely, but next time I am going to reduce the vinegar and sugar in half - that's just to suit my taste buds.
