- 1/4 c. Margarine, (1/2 stick)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 c. Long-grain white rice
- 4 c. Water
- 1/4 c. Butter, diced (1/2 stick) Minced fresh parsley
Инструкции
- Heat margarine in heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat. Fold in 1 tsp. salt, then rice. Saute/fry till rice is golden brown, about 8 min. Add in water. Boil till water is absorbed, about 10 min.
- Fold in butter. Cover, reduce heat to very low and cook till rice is tender, stirring occasionally, about 10 min. Transfer pilaf to bowl. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
- Serves 6.
