- Bring a medium pot of salted water to a boil and add in the Brussels sprouts. Cook till crisp-tender, about 5 min. Drain.
- In a large saucepan, heat 6 Tbsp. of the butter over medium-high heat. Add in the shallots and garlic, and cook for 1 minute. Add in the sprouts in 1 layer and cook till golden, about 5 min. Remove from the pan.
- Add in the remaining 2 Tbsp. of butter and when melted, add in the walnuts and cook, stirring, till golden brown and fragrant, about 2 min. Add in the lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sprouts, and stir well to coat and hot through.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with the Parmesan. Serve immediately.
- This recipe yields 8 servings.
