- 6 slices white bread
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. diced apples
- 2/3 c. raisins
- 1/4 teaspoon each: cinnamon, nutmeg and salt
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk

- 1. Toast bread lightly, cut into cubes, place in buttered 6 c. baking dish.
- 2. Heat lowfat milk, add in butter till it melts. Pour over bread, let stand 1/2 hour.
- 3. Beat Large eggs. Add in sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, apples and raisins. Pour over bread mix. Stir.
- 4. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 min or possibly till apples are tender. Serve with cream, whipped cream or possibly ice cream. Serves 6.
