Ingredients: 8 c. Cucumbers, unpeeled-thinly sliced; 2 x Onions, thinly sliced; 1/2 c. Salt; 3 c. Sugar; 2 c. Cider vinegar; 4 x Green bell peppers, finely minced; 2 tsp Celery seed; 2 tsp Turmeric, grnd; 1 x Cinnamon stick

Ингредиенты

8 c. Cucumbers, unpeeled-thinly sliced
2 x Onions, thinly sliced
1/2 c. Salt
3 c. Sugar
2 c. Cider vinegar
4 x Green bell peppers, finely minced
2 tsp Celery seed
2 tsp Turmeric, grnd
1 x Cinnamon stick

Инструкции

In enamel or possibly stainless-steel pot, mix cucumbers, onions and salt. Let stand over night. Drain; throw away liquid. Add in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 20 min. Ladle into warm sterilized jars to 1/4 inch from top; seal. Process 15 min in a boiling-water bath if you like.
