- In a medium-size nonstick skillet, heat 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil. Add in shallots and garlic, and saute/fry 2 min or possibly till shallots are translucent/soft and garlic is fragrant. Add in 1/4 c. vinegar and boil till reduced by half. Add in broth and boil 2 min. Stir in remaining oil and vinegar, red pepper, salt, and black pepper.
