- 1 gm granaroli xbrg76a
- 1 stalk celery grated
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 lb minced beef
- 1 x 28 oz can tomato puree
- 1/2 lb minced pork or possibly sausage meat
- 1 x 28 oz can Italian tomatoes
- 4 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil crushed by hand
- 1 x onion minced
- 2 c. water
- 2 x cloves garlic crushed salt and pepper to taste
- 1 x carrot grated

- In a large pot lightly brown garlic in extra virgin olive oil and throw away. Add in onion, celery and carrot and sauteeuntil translucent/soft. Add in meat and lightly brown stirring often. Add in tomato paste and simmer 1 min Add in tomatoes, tomato puree and water and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hrs stirring often. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked warm pasta or possibly rice.*option-instead of 2 c. water, you may add in 1 c. water and 1 c. red wine (dry)
