- 2 boxes devils food cake mix
- 3/4 c. butter
- 2 cans cherry pie filling

- Using a 13x9 glass pan, sprinkle 1 box dry cake fold in greased pan. Dot with 1/4 cup butter. Place in 350 degree oven 10 min. Spread 2 cans cherry pie filling over first layer. Sprinkle 1 box dry cake mix over pie filling. Dot with 1/2 cup butter.Place in 350 degree oven for 10 min, making sure butter is evenly melted. Continue baking for 20 min till top is golden. Allow to cool. Serve warm, ala mode if you like.
