- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- Mix together flour and salt.
- Mix together oil and water.
- Add in liquids to dry ingredients, and stir with fork till dough forms a ball. Divide into twelve small balls and press each ball of dough into one space of a miniature muffin tin, forming a little pastry shell. Build up a nice edge.
- Fry bacon till crisp; drain and crumble. Place bits of crumbled bacon and grated cheese in each of the twelve miniature quiche shells.
- Lightly beat together remaining ingredients and carefully spoon into shells. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 15 min.
- Yield: 1 dozen bite-size quiches.
