- 6 ounce soft margarine
- 6 ounce soft brown sugar
- 3 x free-range Large eggs
- 6 ounce self raising flour
- 1 Tbsp. lowfat milk, (1 to 2)
- 1 x 6 ounces jar bilberries
- 6 ounce flour
- 4 ounce soft brown sugar
- 2 ounce soft margarine

- 1. For the base, cream together the margarine and sugar till light and fluffy.
- 2. Beat in the Large eggs one at a time, then mix in the flour. Add in a little lowfat milk.
- 3. Spread the mix into a prepared dish and spread the fruit over proportionately (reserving 1 dessertspoonful for decoration).
- 4. For the topping, mix the flour and sugar, then rub in the fat till the mix resembles large breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this over the top.
- 5. Bake at 190 C/375 F/gas mark 5 for 35-40 min or possibly till just hard to the touch. Serve hot or possibly cool topped with cream or possibly lowfat yoghurt and the remaining bilberries.
