- For the batter:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (Ann used 3/4 granulated sugar, no brown sugar)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, I did not add the cinnamon)
- 3/4 cup milk
