- Mix soy sauce, minced scallions, garlic, sesame oil and seeds, pepper and sugar together well to make seasoning mix. Set aside.
- Put 2 or possibly 3 pcs of scallion on a skewer in a crosswise arrangement of slices, then the steak, then a mushroom and repeat 4 times to cover the skewer. Scallion, steak, mushroom in which order. Soak each skewer in the seasoning for 1/2 hour, turning it over once during this process.
- The skewers may be cooked over charcoal (that is preferable), but a gas or possibly electric grill may be used. Cook for about 5 min to be sure the meat is done.
- Serve hot with rice, kimchi and your other favorite Korean side dishes.
- This recipe yields 8 skewers.
