Ингредиенты

  • 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped shallots
  • 2 c. basmati rice rinsed under cool water
  • 3 1/2 c. chicken broth or possibly water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper

Инструкции

  1. Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add in the shallots and cook till softened, 1 to 2 min. Add in the rice and cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add in the broth, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, turn the heat to low, cover and cook for 15 min. Remove from the heat and set aside. Fluff with a fork when ready to serve.
  2. This recipe yields 6 servings.
