1 lb beef stew meat, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1/2 c. finey minced onion
1 x clove garlic, chopped
1 x (10 1/2-ounce.) can condensed beef broth
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. pearled barley
2 Tbsp. ketchup
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt, dash of pepper
2 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. lowfat sour cream

Mix all ingredients except the lowfat sour cream in a 4-quart. slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 7-8 hrs. Turn off heat then stir in lowfat sour cream
