2 c. pearl barley 1 pkg. frzn peas 3 tbsp. butter

1 med. onion, diced 1 c. chicken broth Salt and pepper

1. Cook barley and peas as directed on pkgs.. In a large skillet, heat butter and lightly brown onion. Add in peas, barley and broth, season to taste, heat about 5 min and serve. Serves 6 to 8.
