- 1/4 cup buttermilk ranch dressing (the stuff in the bottle)
- 2 tbs Russian or Thousand Island Dressing
- 2 tbs sour cream
- 2 tbs minced fresh chives or 1 tbs dehydrated
- 5 slices bacon, diced
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 green onions, chopped finely for garnish

?%20Cheese?%20%20These%20are%20three%20words%20of%20pure%20ecstasy.%20%20How%20can%20you%20go%20wrong?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20way%20more%20bacon--ok%20she%20said%20whatever%20you%20want--and%20the%20same%20with%20the%20cheese.%20%20But%20I%20wanted%20to%20jazz%20up%20the%20sauce%20more%20than%20the%20usual%20ranch%20dressing%20and%20I%20have%20to%20say%20that%20even%20though%20I%20like%20dill,%20I%20could%20NOT%20see%20it%20in%20this%20dish.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20what%20resulted%20was%20a%20more%20piquant%20and%20creamy%20sauce%20and%20a%20better%20(to%20me%20at%20least)%20herb%20addition.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMade%20in%20my%20favorite%20(but%20it%20is%20hard%20to%20pick)%20Revol%20baking%20dish%20and%20my%20new%20halogen%20oven.%20%20You%20want%20crispy%20and%20cooking%20on%20the%20%22cheap%22%20go%20halogen.%20%20I%20love%20mine%20and%20they%20cost%20next%20to%20nothing%20to%20run%20and%20cook%20in%20about%201/2%20the%20time!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBacon%20Ranch%20Potatoes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20bowl,%20combine%20the%20dressings,%20sour%20cream,%20chives,%20bacon,%20potatoes%20and%201/2%20cup%20of%20the%20cheese.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20potato%20mixture%20in%20prepared%20pan.%20%20Cover%20with%20aluminum%20foil%20and%20bake%20for%2060%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20foil%20and%20stir.%20%20Turn%20oven%20temperature%20to%20400%20degree%20F.%20%20Return%20pan%20to%20the%20oven%20and%20bake%20for%2015%20minutes.%20%20Sprinkle%20remaining%201%20cup%20of%20cheese%20over%20the%20potatoes.%20Bake%20for%20an%20additional%205-10%20minutes%20or%20until%20cheese%20is%20melted%20and%20bubbly.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemove%20from%20oven%20and%20garnish%20with%20green%20onion.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%206-8%20servings.%20%20Nutrition%20info%20will%20be%20based%20on%208%20side%20dish%20portions%20(no%20matter%20what,%20it's%20calorie%20and%20fat%20packed--which%20is%20why%20it's%20so%20goooooood).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*About%20the%20pan%20size--if%20you%20want%20crispier%20potatoes,%20use%20the%2013%20x%209%20pan.%20%20If%20you%20want%20softer%20potatoes,%20use%20an%2011%20x%207%20or%20as%20I%20did%20an%208%20x%208%20deep%20square%20baker.%20%20Bake%20times%20are%20the%20same%20for%20all%20pans.%20%20Cook%20times%20are%20for%20a%20conventional%20oven.%20%20A%20halogen%20oven%20would%20cook%20in%20half%20the%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBacon%20Ranch%20Potatoes%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
