Baby Sprouts With Balsamic Vinegar And Sour Cream

Ингредиенты

  • 1 x 500 gram pac frzn Brussel sprouts
  • 50 gm Butter, (1oz)
  • 2 piece preserved stem ginger, finely minced
  • 1 x Clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 4 x Rashers back bacon, cut into cubes
  • 4 Tbsp. Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 x 142 millilit lowfat sour cream
  • 1 pch Salt and freshly grnd black pepper

Инструкции

  1. Cook the Brussel sprouts as per the pack instructions.
  2. Heat the butter in a saucepan, add in the ginger, garlic and mustard seeds. Cook till the seeds pop.
  3. Add in the bacon and cook for 1 min, then pour over the balsamic vinegar and cook gently till the liquid is reduced by half, approximately 5-7 min.
  4. Stir in the lowfat sour cream and heat gently. Season to taste, then pour it over the cooked Brussel sprouts and serve.
  5. NOTES : An unusual and delicious way of serving sprouts.
