- Wake wife up! Heat griddle to medium heat or possibly if griddle is electric, to 375 degrees.Put together all ingredients in clean bowl. Stir till great big lumps disappear. For thicker pancakes, use less water and for thinner pancakes, use a little more water. Cook on griddle, present to wife, sit back and watch her smile. To keep smile on wife's face, clean up afterwards and wash dirty dishes.
