- Heat butter in pan, add in leeks and cook over low heat for 5 min or possibly till leeks soften. Add in capers, anchovies, liquid removed artichokes, wine and garlic. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 3 min. Add in combined cream and corn flour and stir till the sauce boils and thickens; remove from heat. Heat oil in frying pan, fry bacon till crisp, then chop roughly. Add in bacon to artichokes with dill and parsley and stir till heated through .
