Ингредиенты
- ½ C. Shortening
- 1 C. Sugar
- 1 Egg
- ½ t. Maple syrup
- 1 C. Seedless raisins
- ¾ C. Chopped nuts
- 2 ½ C. Flour, sifted
- 1 ¼ t. Soda
- 1 ¼ t. Salt
- ½ t. Nutmeg
- ½ t. Allspice
- 1 t. Cinnamon
- 1 ¼ C. Applesauce
- 2 T. Powdered Sugar
Инструкции
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a tube pan.
- Cream shortening well, then slowly add sugar beating until fluffy. Beat in the egg. Stir in the flour, raisins and nuts. Blend well.
- Blend the sifted flour, soda, salt, nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon. Mix this alternately with the applesauce, beating after each addition.
- Bake 1 hour.
- Cool and remove from pan. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top of the cake.
