- 3 large eggs, separated

- 1 1/2 c. thick sweetened applesauce
- 1 c. nuts, minced
- 1 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 c. dates, minced
- 1 c. orange, lemon, citron combined, cut
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 3 T water
- 2 1/2 c. flour

- Fold in the order given, except for egg whites. Sift dry ingredients. Beat egg whites and mix in. Bake in greased pan at 350 degrees for 60 min or possibly till it tests done.
