- 2 c. finely minced tart apples
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 T flour
- 1 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Pastry for 1 crust pie

- Put together sugar and flour; add in cream, egg, vanilla and salt. Beat till smooth. Add in apples; mix thoroughly. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 15 min, reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 30 more min. Remove from oven.Put together 1/3 cup sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/3 cup flour and cut in 1/4 cup butter. Mix thoroughly; sprinkle over top of pie and return to oven. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 more min. Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.
