- 1 apple, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
- ½ cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 2 Tbsp. white sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ lemon, juiced
- ¼ cup nonfat milk
- 1 egg

- Preheat air fryer at 400°F. Line air fryer basket with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.
- Stir in the lemon juice, milk and egg.
- Mix in the apples.
- Pour about ¼ cup of apple fritter batter into the air fryer. Leave enough space between each apple fritter. Two batches may be required.
- Air fry for 4-5 minutes. Flip and then bake for another 4-5 minutes.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
