60 Minute Yeast Rolls

Ингредиенты

  • 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. flour (mix of whole wheat/ white)
  • 3 T sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 T yeast
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/4 c. butter

Инструкции

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix 1 1/2 cups of flour, sugar, salt and yeast in bowl. Put together lowfat milk, water, butter in a saucepan. Heat till very warm (120 to 130 degrees). Add in to dry ingredients and beat. Gradually add in 1/2 cup flour, beating and scraping bowl. Stir in sufficient flour to make a soft dough.Knead till smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover and let rise 15 min. Punch down. Shape into rolls; cover, and let rise 15 min. Bake at 425 degrees for approximately 10 to 12 min.
