Ингредиенты

  • 4 lb brisket
  • 2 Tbsp. Liquid Smoke
  • 1 tsp salt onion salt, to taste garlic pwdr, to taste
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Liquid Smoke
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Инструкции

  1. Day 1: Baste brisket with Liquid Smoke and 1 tsp. salt. Wrap in foil and chill overnight.
  2. Day 2: Sprinkle brisket all over with onion salt and garlic pwdr.
  3. Re-wrap and bake at 300 degrees for 5 hrs. Cold and chill overnight.
  4. Day 3: Slice and cover with sauce. Re-wrap and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
  5. Sauce:Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove and pour over brisket. For a larger brisket, I double this amount of sauce. Excellent for making ahead for picnics or possibly camping.
