Two Helpful Hints

Some of you out there may be aware of these simple hints! I was not!

1. When making lasagna with regular noodles....instead of boiling the noodles simply put in baking dish and pour hot water over to cover....let set while puting together other ingredients
2. Instead of guessing whether hot oil in a fry pan is hot enough to use (If you don't have a thermometer), put the handle end of a wooden spoon into the oil.....if small bubbles start....it's hot enough!
