My tour service Valencia Wine Country offers you the pleasure of tasting a variety of top-quality vintages while exploring the sun-soaked landscape that produces them. In south-eastern Spain's "Utiél Requena" region, you'll visit family-owned wineries, taste their finest offerings, and enjoy the marvellous local cuisine.
Valencia Wine Country offers day-trips for small groups (up to eight people) from Valencia to the vineyards of Requena. Once there, our adventure begins at mid-morning with coffee in the 18th century main square -- then on to local attractions such as the Caves of Requena or the House of Silk. After that, we'll visit some of the best wineries in the area, enjoy and exquisite lunch at a local restaurant, and then explore more wineries before heading back to Valencia.
With many years as a professional chauffeur, tour guide and a wine aficionado, I've become very familiar with the best wines and cuisine the Valencia region can offer. I've spent many hours with families who have made wine for centuries, learning about their business and hearing stories of their ancestors. I'll share those stories and knowledge with you during our travels together and since I'm an American that has lived in Valencia for the past 13 years, I can discuss Valencia Wine Country in Spanish or English.
