Have been coooking since I was 5, started working in restaurants when I was 13 and have worked as a professional chef. Was a chef in Japanese restaurants for total of 5 years and went to culinary school. No longer in the business but still love to cook!

Not a fan of Emiral, Jamie Oliver and the like, but have met Julia Childs (she came into my kitchen and thanked me for the hanger steak I cooked her), watched Jacques Pepin and her when I was a kid. My dad and I cooked a lot when I was young, so guess he would be the most influential person. Also have worked with Chris Schlesinger, Jasper White, and others.
