Обо мне
I'm not a professional chef, but i'm a good eater and I've lived all over the world. I decided at a young age to eat adventurously so I wouldn't miss out on the good things out there, and I'm doing my best to keep up with that!

When I was a kid, we lived in Turkey, Italy, Okinawa and Scotland, and my Mom sort of picked up recipes from everywhere we settled, so I grew up with things like Yakisoba and Goulash and Shepherd's Pie as my comfort foods. I started cooking when I was eight, full meals by ten, and I haven't stopped since-- why make something boring when you can make something good?
For the last year, I've been eating as strictly seasonally as I can, shopping in ethnic markets, trying out new restaurants, and I've been learning how to cook all new foods in multiple all new ways! And I've found so many wonderful cooks and their blogs online--Smitten Kitchen, Joy the Baker, Coconut and Lime, the White on Rice Couple, Pinch My Salt-- and they've all expanded my horizons.
