I'm a fiance, a passionate cook, slightly addicted to PBS/Create cooking shows, an avid blog reader and hopefully writer, a liberal, and a raving cynical optimist. I'm thinking about taking up yoga and I'm working on losing weight. I hate most vegetables, but never met a fruit I didn't like. I'm looking into living more frugal and crunchy...As long as I don't have to give up meat. I hope to make of my own laundry detergent, soap, and anything else possible. I'm looking forward to having my first garden and trying to keep my houseplants alive. In the end, I'm trying to live my life passionately and enjoying the most of any opportunity the universe gives me. And, before I forget, I'm mama to my fur baby Lucy, a gray striped tiger cat.
