I am a happily married second generation Swede with five kids between the two of us and seven grandchildren so far. I love all foods, rich and creamy ones, complex recipes and all things Cajun. We live on 14 acres in NE Mississippi and have a year round garden. We plan to have chickens soon and are building our forever home this next year. My husband and I cook almost every night from scratch. We slice and dice most things and use fresh or preserved foods as much as possible. We are avid gardeners, hunters and fishing lovers. We have dabbled in hot sauce and salsa, pickled okra, peppers, pepper sauce, basil garlic tomatoes, and frozen most things. We both enjoy working outside after work, hope to retire soon, and live off the land more and more.
