My tag line says it all... not afraid to try new things & delight my family & friends ! I'm known by all our friends as 'the good cook'! I love to thrill my guests with something to WOW!
Born into an Irish/Scottish family whose idea of a good meal always involved some kind of boiled to death vegetable, roasted meat & potatoes (mashed, baked, boiled - I peeled potatoes every single day growing up!)
THEN...My Aunt married a Sicilian (my wonderful Uncle Joe!) & my tastes & culinary world completely changed !! Thank God ! My Aunt Franny taught me how to make pizza, bread, home made pasta, eggplant parm, lasagna & the best sauce (gravy whatever!) & meatballs you ever tasted ! Yess I am bragging that my cooking rivals many true Italians that we know - I just LOVE FOOD & reading recipes & preparing - even shopping for it !
