%20for%20the%20Seafood%20Festival%20and%20it%20was%20so%20much%20fun.%20It%20seems%20that%20seafood%20is%20one%20of%20those%20things%20that%20you%20love%20it%20or%20hate%20it...%20And%20we%20absolutely%20love%20it!%20After%20that%20adventure%20I%20kept%20making%20excuses%20to%20travel%20out%20to%20Long%20Island%20with%20a%20cooler%20stashed%20in%20the%20backseat%20to%20visit%20the%20fish%20market%20out%20on%20the%20pier,%20Two%20Cousins.%20Then%20we%20decided%20to%20kill%20two%20birds%20with%20one%20stone,%20he%20would%20come%20visit....with%20the%20cooler%20full%20of%20fish%20so%20we%20could%20have%20a%20fun%20visit%20and%20some%20delicious%20seafood!%20Seafood%20Extravaganza%20v.1%20included%20some%20red%20snapper,%20fried%20calamari%20and%20fried%20soft%20shell%20crabs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20time%20we%20had%20even%20more%20friends%20over%20and%20more%20seafood%20options%20including%20our%20first%20Iron%20Chef%20style%20showdown%20with%20a%20mystery%20ingredient!%20We%20decided%20that%20every%20guest%20would%20attempt%20a%20seafood%20dish%20and%20we%20would%20all%20have%20fun%20cooking%20together.%20And%20I%20have%20to%20say%20it%20actually%20did%20work%20out%20for%20the%20most%20part!%20But%20as%20always%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20about%203%20dishes%20and%20so%20we%20decided%20to%20split%20dinner%20into%20two%20parts%20with%20a%20short%20rest%20in%20the%20middle%20were%20I%20finished%20my%20prep.%20The%20one%20big%20note%20for%20the%20evening%20was%20to%20get%20your%20mise%20en%20place%20all%20set%20and%20ready%20to%20go-%20while%20each%20recipe%20is%20easy%20in%20itself%20when%20you%20have%203%20or%204%20things%20to%20prep%20in%20a%20short%20time%20doing%20each%20little%20step%20takes%20time!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20for%20the%20Menu:%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
