- Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In open roasting pan, heat butter in oven. Stir in cinnamon. Gradually add in cereal and nuts, stirring till all pcs are evenly coated. Sprinkle cereal with sugar. Mix well. Bake 20 to 25 min, stirring fruit in after 10 min. Cool on waxed paper. Store in air-tight container. Served warm this mix tastes like a warm apple pie.
