Easy Cheesy Meat Pie

This tasty all-in-one pie crust supper can be made with any ground meat- beef, pork or turkey. Same with the gravy. I put my leftover vegetables in a plastic bag and freeze it....before long I have a medley of beans, corn, carrots, diced potatoes etc. to add to this pie. Your favorite cheese tops this deep dish supper.

Ингредиенты

  • 1 lb. ground meat- beef, pork or turkey
  • 1/2 onion sliced thin
  • 1 (101/2 oz. ) can of gravy- brown, turkey or beef
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables
  • 1 pie crust in a pie dish or foil pie plate
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • seasonings: salt, garlic & onion powders
  • olive oil

Инструкции

  1. Pre heat oven 450 degrees.
  2. Blind bake pie crust for 10 minutes, then remove
  3. Add a small amount of olive oil to a skillet.
  4. Heat for two minutes
  5. Add ground meat and onion
  6. Season lightly with salt, then onion & garlic powders
  7. Mix
  8. Cook meat until gently browned (there will be additional cook time in oven)
  9. Drain any liquid from pan
  10. Add gravy
  11. Mix
  12. Add vegetables
  13. Mix
  14. Fill partly baked pie crust with meat mixture
  15. Top generously with cheese
  16. Put pie on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes until cheese is golden brown
  17. Cool & enjoy!
