Рецепт Dark Chocolate Peanut Chews

Ингредиенты

  • For Chocolate:
  • 1 cup of dark cacao or coco powder - divided
  • 1 cup of coconut oil - divided
  • 3 tablespoons of real maple syrup
  • 10 pitted medjool dates
  • 1 teaspoon of organic or natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted roasted peanuts INSTRUCTIONS
  • melt 1/2 cup of coconut oil in a pan over medium heat
  • add the cacao powder and mix well, turn heat off
  • stir in 1 1/2 tablespoons of syrup and mix in well
  • pour chocolate mixture into lined cupcake tins, or silicone candy molds until they are about 1/4 full
  • place in refrigerator for approximately 45 minutes to an hour
  • meanwhile make the "caramel" filling
  • place the dates into a food processor and process until they form a ball
  • add the peanut butter and mix for 30 seconds more
  • place mixture in refrigerator for 30 minutes
  • remove the hardened chocolate and date caramel mixture from the refrigerator
  • spread a layer of caramel on top of the chocolate and top with peanuts place back in refrigerator
  • melt the remaining coconut oil in a pan and stir in the cacao, mix well and turn heat off
  • add the remaining maple syrup and stir well
  • pour the chocolate over the chocolate, date caramel and peanut mixture
  • refrigerate until chocolate has hardened
