.%20My%20stomach%20muscles,%20especially,%20seem%20to%20have%20stopped%20working.%20I%20can%20no%20longer%20gently%20ease%20myself%20down%20into%20bed,%20I%20now%20just%20flop.%20I'm%20hoping%20that%20this%20pain%20is%20a%20good%20sign%20-%20my%20muscles%20are%20probably%20just%20a%20bit%20confused%20since%20they%20weren't%20really%20used%20for%20about%20twenty%20years%20and%20now%20they're%20being%20asked%20to%20help%20me%20touch%20my%20feet%20to%20the%20floor%20over%20my%20head%20(which%20I%20totally%20managed,%20by%20the%20way,%20though%20I'm%20sure%20I%20looked%20rather%20unelegant%20with%20my%20bum%20in%20the%20air).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyway,%20to%20go%20with%20my%20new%20athleticism%20I%20figured%20I%20should%20eat%20a%20salad.%20Yes%20I%20know%20it%20contains%20cheese,%20and%20that%20I'm%20ridiculously%20predictable,%20but%20whatever.%20It%20was%20really%20really%20really%20nice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEvery%20time%20I%20get%20a%20shop-bought%20sandwich,%20it's%20a%20cheese%20and%20onion%20one.%20Every%20time.%20Partly%20because%20I%20don't%20like%20change,%20and%20once%20I%20know%20I%20like%20something,%20I'll%20usually%20stick%20with%20it%20(hence%20why%20I%20order%20veggie%20moussaka%20every%20time%20I%20go%20out%20for%20Greek),%20and%20partly%20because%20there%20are%20usually%20only%20about%20three%20vegetarian%20choices,%20one%20of%20which%20is%20egg%20mayonnaise,%20which%20I%20find%20unbelievably%20revolting.%20So%20this%20salad%20is%20a%20bit%20like%20my%20favourite%20cheese%20and%20onion%20sandwich,%20except%20instead%20of%20white%20bread%20(which%20isn't%20really%20the%20healthiest%20thing%20in%20the%20world),%20this%20has%20lettuce,%20plus%20grapes%20and%20walnuts,%20which%20add%20a%20nice%20crunch%20and%20sweetness.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESince%20spring%20has%20almost%20reared%20its%20little%20head,%20I%20feel%20I%20now%20have%20to%20eat%20a%20lot%20of%20salad.%20Just%20like%20when%20the%20sun%20shines%20for%20one%20day%20in%20February,%20and%20everyone%20wears%20shorts%20and%20sunglasses%20because%20otherwise%20it%20might%20go%20away%20again.%20If%20I%20eat%20enough%20salad%20perhaps%20the%20spring%20might%20realise%20that%20it's%20time%20for%20it%20to%20stop%20teasing%20us%20and%20just%20begin%20already.%20Who's%20with%20me?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheese%20and%20onion%20salad%20with%20grapes%20and%20walnuts%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServes%202%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20the%20grated%20cheese,%20chopped%20onions%20and%20chives,%20mayonnaise,%20and%20plenty%20of%20black%20pepper.%20Mix%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20construct%20the%20salad,%20divide%20the%20leaves%20onto%20two%20plates,%20and%20top%20with%20the%20halved%20grapes,%20walnuts,%20and%20dollops%20of%20the%20cheese%20and%20onion%20mixture.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
