- 1 1/2 cups pitted sliced dates
- 1 cup nuts
- confectioners sugar

- beat until light 3 eggs, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla
- sift together 1 cup flour, salt, and baking powder
- add dry ingredients to wet
- add dates and nuts
- bake 350 for 30 minutes
- cut into bars while warm
- roll in confectioners sugar
- 10 1/2 x 7 x 1 1/2
