%20but%20I%20do%20like%20to%20scan%20the%20groceries%20at%20Target.%20Sometimes%20they%20get%20new%20products%20first.%20So%20when%20I%20saw:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGluten%20Free%20Hamburger%20Helper%20%E2%80%93%20Asian%20Chicken%20Helper%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20resist!%20Well,%20honestly%E2%80%A6I%20almost%20put%20it%20right%20back%20on%20the%20shelf%20when%20I%20looked%20at%20the%20ingredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhite%20rice,%20artificial%20flavor,%20yellows,%20MSG!!!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20I%20decided%20to%20try%20it%20once,%20for%20you%20guys.%20I%20feel%20as%20a%20blogger,%20it%E2%80%99s%20sort%20of%20my%20duty%20to%20try%20new%20products%20and%20tell%20you%20if%20they%E2%80%99re%20worth%20the%20purchase.%20PLUS%20I%20do%20like%20to%20support%20companies%20when%20they%20take%20strides%20to%20make%20gluten%20free%20products.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20in%20the%20cart%20it%20went,%20along%20with%20dog%20bones,%20new%20running%20shorts,%20and%20a%20few%20clearance%20pillows.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20I%20was%20planning%20the%20menu%20for%20the%20week,%20I%20gave%20Asian%20Helper%20the%20%E2%80%98Easy%20Monday%20Supper%E2%80%99%20slot%20and%20made%20sure%20to%20pick%20up%20some%20bok%20choy%20at%20the%20Teeter%20to%20accompany.%20I%20highly%20suggest%20making%20a%20veggie%20side%20with%20this%20meal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20prepare%20the%20Asian%20Helper,%20I%20simply%20followed%20the%20directions%20on%20the%20box.%20Easy%20Peasy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20far%20as%20servings%20go,%20I%20would%20say%20that%20if%20you%20make%20a%20veggie%20side,%20you%20could%20get%20three%20servings%20out%20of%20this.%20The%20directions%20call%20for%201%20pound%20of%20chicken,%20and%20I%20only%20had%20.90%20pounds%20BUT%20it%E2%80%99s%20still%20pretty%20small.%20And%20even%20though%20the%20box%20says%20there%20are%20five%20servings%E2%80%A6I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20see%20five%20servings.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20bok%20choy%20was%20delicious!%20I%20simply%20chopped%20the%20choy%20in%20to%20small%20bites%20and%20saut%C3%A9ed%20with%20one%20minced%20shallot,%20one%20tbsp.%20oil,%20and%20one%20tbsp.%20GF%20tamari.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20seriously%20love%20bok%20choy.%20Especially%20baby%20bok%20choy.%20It%E2%80%99s%20so%20tender%20and%20not%20the%20least%20bit%20bitter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20helper%20had%20good%20flavor%E2%80%A6probably%20highlighted%20by%20the%20MSG%E2%80%A6but%20it%20was%20yummy.%20I%20liked%20the%20egg,%20but%20the%20best%20part%20was:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20chicken!%20Juicy,%20tender,%20and%20full%20of%20%E2%80%9Casian-y%E2%80%9D%20flavor.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAren%E2%80%99t%20these%20chopsticks%20cute?!%20They%20were%20a%20gift%20from%20MOH%20and%20I%20love%20them!%20Cute%20little%20owls:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20a%20blogger%20who%20would%20love%20these!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESO%20the%20final%20verdict%20on%20Gluten%20Free%20Asian%20Helper?%20Yummy%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWould%20I%20buy%20it%20again?%20I%20honestly%20don%E2%80%99t%20think%20so.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20stop%20thinking%20about%20making%20my%20own%20version%20with%20brown%20rice%20and%20whole,%20natural%20ingredients.%20Plus,%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20a%20fan%20of%20MSG.%20It%E2%80%99s%20unnecessary.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20did%20you%20notice%20this%20little%20gem%20on%20the%20box?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEven%20though%20it%E2%80%99s%20gluten%20free%20it%20still%20tastes%20great?%20Phew!%20I%20thought%20gluten%20free%20meant%20gross.%20bahahahahahaha%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20guess%20you%20have%20to%20reassure%20gluten%20lovers.%20It%E2%80%99s%20ok.%20It%20still%20tastes%20great%E2%80%A6even%20without%20the%20gluten.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
