Рецепт Zucchini Chips

A lot of these are showing up in my garden which has me thinking of different ways to prepare them.
The old me would bread them and fry them, but that’s not the best choice, so I decided to make them into zucchini chips. I sliced them extremely thin with a sharp knife, and add a little olive oil. . .
They are just a little bit crunchy and a lot delicious, not to mention a healthy and easy grab and go snack.
INGREDIENTS
Preheat oven to 400
- 1 medium zucchini sliced thin using a mandolin slicer
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- Nutritional yeast or parmesan cheese – optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Slice the zucchini very thin using a sharp knife or a mandolin slicer
Place the slices on a paper towel and cover with another and gently press down to remove some of the moisture
Crush the garlic into the olive oil
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
With a pastry brush, brush a thin coating of oil/garlic mixture onto the paper
Place each slice of zucchini on the parchment lined pan
Brush the top of the zucchini with a thin coating of oil
Place in oven and bake for about 8 to 10 minutes and turn over
Bake 8 to 10 minutes more or until they begin to turn brown – as they brown keep turning and watching them. . You may have to remove some before others
