Рецепт Ziploc® VersaGlass™ Containers, the cooking, serving and storing all-in-one solution
In the kitchen, I like to use items that are durable and can withstand the test of time, like glassware for storage. Since I purposely cook large quantities of food, I always have leftovers. When I put food away in glassware, I use aluminum foil to cover the top. Inevitably, the wrapping falls off and I end up with dried up leftovers and spills on my refrigerator shelf. Blech!
I also like to set a nice table and adore containers that I can heat in as well as serve from. But I hate having extra dishes to wash.
So what’s a mom who loves to cook to do?
Ziploc VersaGlass Containers - my solution!
Ziploc, the food and home storage solution families trust, has come up with a solution - Ziploc VersaGlass Containers! They’re designed to go from the refrigerator or freezer to the microwave or oven and are pretty enough to use at the dinner table.
Ziploc VersaGlass Containers are made from tempered glass (50 percent stronger than non-tempered glass) and can take oven temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
They’re perfect for roasting small amounts of veggies or heating up casseroles and lasagna! After your dish cools down, just snap on their colorful, see-through plastic lids to keep food fresh in the refrigerator or to pop in the freezer to reheat later.
They’re also dishwasher-safe and available in six budget-friendly sizes, ranging from $4.19 - $8.99, or in a variety pack of three containers for $17.99.
How I use Ziploc VersaGlass Containers
I recently cooked flavored rice in the medium rectangle container, which holds 5 1/2 cups, in the oven. After it was done, I waited for the dish to cool down enough to handle and then I snapped on the lid and popped it into the fridge. Easy and no messing around with a tangle of foil! I can then reheat the rice in the microwave and serve straight from the container.
The round containers are as practical as they are adorable. I could see making a seven-layer dip or a mini-trifle in the tall round, which holds 3 cups. The small round containers are perfect for bringing homemade salad dressing to the table or for storing small amounts of leftovers, such as gravy.
The larger Ziploc VersaGlass Containers are perfect for anyone who does once-a-month cooking or freezer meals. The containers also come in a small rectangle size (2 cups) and a medium square size (4 cups).
