Рецепт Wholegrain Carrot Cake
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 2 Cups Whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp Ginger powder
- Wet Ingredients
- 1/4 Cup Regular sugar
- 3/4 Cup Brown sugar
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- 3/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 Cup Milk
- Other Ingredients
- 2 Cups Grated Carrot
- 1 Cup Cashews, walnuts + 1 Tbsp Cashews, walnuts divided
- 1/2 Cup Raisins + 1 Tbsp Raisins, divided
Instructions
Preheat the Oven to 350 F positioning the rack in the middle.
In a large bowl combine all the dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine all the wet ingredients except milk. Finally add milk while stirring it constantly. Now pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients along with grated carrots, cashews and raisins. Mix it well without any lumps.
Pour it into a greased cake pan and sprinkle 1 Tbsp nuts and raisins on top. Bake at 350 F for around 30 minutes or until the tooth pick inserted at the center comes clean.
