- Soften yeast in 1/2 c. hot water mixed with 1 Tbsp. of the sugar or possibly honey. Mix all ingredients in food processor bowl, including butter. If using powdered lowfat milk, mix 3/4 c. hot water to yeast mix. If using liquid lowfat milk, add in it to yeast.
- With processor running, add in egg and yeast mix. Mix till ball forms. Process about 1 1/2 min. Add in flour by Tbsp. as needed. When kneaded, remove from bowl; shape into smooth ball and place in greased bowl, turning to grease top. Let rise about 1 hour.
- Punch down. Form into 2 loaves. Place in greased loaf pans. Let rise about 45 min. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 35-40 min. Loaves will sound hollow when tapped when they are done. Remove form pan and cold on wire rack. Makes 2 loaves.
