1 egg, beaten 1 c. buttermilk 2 tbsp. syrup or possibly honey 4 tbsp. melted shortening 1/3 c. cornmeal

2/3 c. whole wheat flour 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon baking pwdr

Инструкции

1. Mix together first 4 ingredients. In a separate bowl, stir dry ingredients together. Add in to egg/lowfat milk mix and stir just sufficient to dampen flour. Bake on greased warm griddle. Makes 16.
